Manager of Business Development and Marketing

Summary/Objective

This position markets medical care services to local businesses, physicians, and consumers. Grows the patient counts per day and brands the facility through marketing and sales events. Measures progress and adjusts the processes accordingly to ensure excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Develop strategies to increase market awareness of health services in the local area.

· Develop definitions of target markets, business opportunities and customers through data mining, research, and experience

· Represent the company through calling on local businesses, medical practices, presentations, or industry events and assume accountability for the ongoing management of these opportunities.

· Establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships with all departments.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with training for the Sales and Marketing programs, strategies, business reporting and operational practices to build brand awareness.

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or relevant education

· 2 years’ experience in business development, healthcare strategy or partnership roles

· Successful experience developing, implementing, and achieving results with sales and marketing strategies.

· Experience in an integrated healthcare provider in data analytics as it applies to service line growth or in strategic finance roles or as a member of the strategy business development team in a capacity of physician integration is required.

· Ability to conduct face to face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including but not limited to direct-to-consumer, business, and physicians.

· Strong organization and communication skills

· Must have the ability to translate data and vision into operational goals and outcomes, and to manage and coordinate is required.

· Creatively and cooperatively work in a fast-growing organization.

· Possess the skills to be independent, motivated, and results-driven on establishing new business.

Language Ability:

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software and Database software.
